Cala San Vicente still preserves an old fishing tradition and some restaurants in the area stand out for their fish dishes.

It used to be my favourite spot — and that of many others — back when Carlos, his wife Marga, and their family ran the restaurant. 2023 was their final season. The grilled mussels, cap roig, and San Pedro rooster were unmissable. No summer felt complete without an evening at Cal Patró. They’d even bring the fresh fish to your table before cooking it — a lovely touch that’s sadly gone now. Since 2024, it’s been managed by the Mystic Group: very professional service, but the fish quality just isn’t the same. Hopefully, one day, they’ll bring back the standard that made it so special.

Another restaurant that used to be family-run. Not anymore — and since then, prices have gone up while quality has gone down.. This spot just at the bottom of the steps from Can Botana villas. Has been completely redecorated in 2024 in a fresh, modern Mediterranean style.
The menu is Italian-inspired, with a wide choice of pizzas, pastas, as well as meat, fish and vegetarian options. A highlight for families is their fun Nutella pizza!
Run by the same owners as La Tasca, but managed by a different team of waiters. It keeps a varied menu.
The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Also very convenient for Can Botana Villas guests.
Currently, it’s arguably the best restaurant in La Cala. Excellent food, a pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service.
