1.- How far is the villa from Palma airport?
It is 45 minutes far.
2.- Do you have any contacts for airport transfers?
We do have a contact with a transfer company. In case our guests are interested in hiring this service, we can process this service for them. We send our guests a file with the information the company requires and organise it all for them. The cost for up to 7 people is usually 110€ per trip, so it is 220€ altogether.
3.- Could you confirm whether the villa has Wi-Fi?
We do not have a wi-fi connection for the moment. The big problem we have in the Botana villas complex is its isolated setting because Internet coverage is not good at all and also because there’s no chance to install an aerial easily. Moreover, this should be a community expense and for the moment not all owners want to do the installation.
That is why the only option left for the moment is providing those guests who exceptionally need an Internet connection because of working reasons with a USB connector. Nevertheless, USB connectors only have 1,5 GB which do not last long.
4.- Is there a barbecue available for use?
There is a portable barbecue under the stairs. Use it as much as you like but please, leave it clean before leaving.
5. – What is the latest time we can leave on departure day?
In case there are new guests arriving on the very same date, the latest time you can leave the villa on departure is at 10 am. This is quite common in peak season, which is the most hectic season of the year!
If there is not a check-in on your departure date, we will be happy to offer you a late check-out.
6.- Do we need to bring a hairdryer and do we need cleaning items like dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid?
Yes, you have got a hairdryer in the en-suite bathroom.
As for cleaning products, guests usually buy anything they need for their stay since this is a self-catering accommodation, but I always try to leave the remains of previous guests as well as a couple of rolls of toilet paper.
7.- How far is the villa from the pool?
The 12 villas are located around the swimming pool. Villas 12, 8 and 7 are set right below the pool area. There are some rules that we send to all our guests in which we ask them to respect other guests’ rest and try not to make noise in the pool area or garden at quiet hours.
8.- How many meters does the pool have?
The swimming pool is about 16 meters long per 6 meters wide and it has a children’s zone.
9.- I would like to know whether the swimming pool has enough sunshine?
It’s quite sunny throughout the day although the best time to sunbathe is before 15 pm. Nevertheless, bear in mind that the beach is 5 minutes far from the villa and the perfect place to get the best tan!
10.- is the beach sand or stones?
The closest beach (2-3 minutes) is called Cala Molins and it is excellent for families with children and elderly people. It is a sand beach with stunning views of the Cavall Bernat mountain and is very good for snorkelling.
Apart from this one there is a beautiful inlet called Cala Carbó which is also quite near the villas (apprx. 5-7 minutes) and is covered by pebbles and shingle.
11.- How far is the villa from the other beaches, like Port of Pollença and the village of Pollenca?
Cala San Vicente is 7-9 km far from Port of Pollença, although the beaches there are not that good. Depending on wind and weather conditions, we recommend you to go to Formentor or to Alcudia, especially to Playas de Muro, in case you want to explore other beach areas.
Pollença is the interior village, known for its charming ambiance, historic buildings and some interesting events. It offers all its visitors the opportunity to enjoy a stunning mountain landscape or a wide range of cultural highlights and services (Sunday market).
12.- Are there any pharmacies in Cala San Vicente?
If you need a Chemist, you will find one facing the Hotel Don Pedro at Cala Barques:

13.- What is included in the total price for a 14-night stay? are there any extra costs?
The house is a self-catering accommodation, so guests don’t find any extras or groceries on arrival. This is something that is important to be clear about and what makes it different from a hotel.
The house will be perfectly clean and tidy on your arrival and you will be provided with towels and bed linen for two weeks (2 sets for each guest).
However, in case you may be interested in additional cleaning services during your stay, we will provide you with the telephone number of the manager of the cleaning company, who will inform you about their rates and availability, since it is not included in the price and it would be at your expense.
